Deckers tactical collection, also known as the DXLTAC Collection, showcases the brilliance of Jean-Luc-Diard, former CEO of Salomon and now the innovation team lead at DXL. Premium materials and components equip each offering so that military and law enforcement perform at their best during any circumstances.
The DX-G8 is a mid-cut boot that is AR670-1 compliant. The G8 is also equipped with a fully lined upper with spacer mesh for 360-degree air circulation and a Vibram® Litebase outsole reducing 30% of overall sole weight with heavy-duty Vibram® MegaGrip compound, and quarter panels made from 1000-denier nylon texture.This TD and Deckers X Lab exclusive is available in our signature Coyote natural tan color. The second design, the DX-M4, is an amphibious boot engineered to perform in the water. The M4 has a 6" water-friendly sock-like knit upper that grips your foot in all conditions, plus a firm collar that prevents sand intrusion during beach ops. The Matryx® quarter panels woven with Kevlar provide a highly secure fit, while drain ports at flex points will quickly and effectively evacuate water from inside the boot. EVA is located on the footbed and heel cushion to protect from harsh impacts, while a polypropylene internal shank makes climbing a caving ladder easy and pain-free. Like the G8, the Vibram® Litebase outsole reduces 30% of the overall sole weight, and the Vibram® MegaGrip outsole gives a sure step no matter the terrain.
